Dodge have revealed an updated version of the Charger sedan outfitted in full police specification.
The Charger has already been facelifted but the police version also got a new thick-grip steering wheel, heavy-duty brakes, reinforced suspension. The entire electric system was enhanced for additional equipment, including the computer to access police databases, 100-watt siren, a video camera and police lights.
Under the bonnet, the cars will carry either 6- or 8-cylinder petrol-powered engines delivering 296 or 377 hp respectively. It will be available in both rear- and all-wheel drive. Shift lever is now column-mounted.
Apart from police light and traditional push bumper, the car now features modified front seats specially designed to accommodate police officers' utility belts.
