American sports car manufacturer Fisker is getting ready to relaunch production of its Karma model; however, it will have to fix 250 “bugs” found in the original design.
In February 2014, the Chinese company Wanxiang Group acquired Fisker Automotive, which was on the verge of bankruptcy. “The most important thing at the moment is solving all the current issues. We will have to fix over 250 “bugs” in this car. I often say that Wanxiang can afford to make cars, but Wanxiang cannot afford to make bad cars," said Wanxiang U.S. president Pin Ni.
In the nearest future, the company is expected to build new models apart from modifying the problem-plagued Karma hybrid. The first premiere is due to arrive in 2017; however, there is no word yet about the planned vehicles.
