It’s not a problem in case you are unfamiliar with this manufacturer of sports cars. Most probably, you don’t know its competitors either, but there are Vuhl 05, Zenos E10, and BAC Mono among them. What concerns the PR-1, it’s a sports street-legal two-seater. The weight of the sports car is truly shocking. It’s only 450 kg! It is the lightest track-focused sports car.

This feat of engineering is powered by a 2.0-litre Ford Ecoboost engine. It is tuned to deliver 276 hp. It features a sequential transmission. Another unusual specification is that it claims 200 kg of downforce at 100 mph (160 km/h). It has a fully independent suspension.

The front panel of the sports car is fitted with a display, which can be used to watch the car’s performance on the track, filmed by its cameras. Apart from that, Elemental RP-1 will be featuring heated footwells. Its body shape allows drivers up to 2 metres tall to fit behind the wheel.

The car will enter production in 2015. The starting price for the PR-1 could be around £50,000.
