Mercedes-Benz trimmed with gold and crocodile leather

Here comes another car covered with gold. This time the experts from the Polish tuning studio Carlex put their hands at the interior of a Mercedes-Benz S-Class. For this purpose, they used 24K gold and crocodile leather.

Perhaps, such vulgar trimming was chosen by the tuning studio not because of poor imagination but to draw public attention. And they have successfully coped with this task. Previously they have created a “gothic” Rolls-Royce Phantom sedan and a Volkswagen up! for mothers with new-born children.

And now the guys from Carlex have covered all metal elements in the interior of an S-Class with gold — air vents, speaker covers, multimedia and climate control elements, door handles, and the emblem on the steering wheel. Crocodile leather upholstery includes seats, dashboard, armrests, and door panels.

There is no word regarding the price of the package yet. Maybe that’s because they want to avoid any conflicts with Greenpeace and not allow them to count how many crocodiles were used to cover the interior. Well, this project is definitely not going to strike fancy of many. Both from moral and aesthetic points of view.
