The journalists from AutoBild, a popular automobile magazine, conducted interesting performance tests of the German hot-hatches. The tests traditionally included acceleration and breaking dynamics and slalom speed, but this time they went without lap time measurement. Golf R became the winner of the tests which was quite unexpected. According to the journalists, Golf has improved in almost every way in comparison with its previous generations and is now the happy mean between comfort and sport. The second place was taken by BMW which was described by the representatives of the magazine as the car with the most ‘sporty’ character in the trio. Last place was taken by Audi S3 which lost some points in driving performance but showed up as the most comfortable one. Below you can find the data recorded during the tests:
