This time the German journalists decided to conduct tests of Audi RS Q3. The RS letters in its name mean that it is the most powerful Q3 available. But RS is not only about power, it also includes the upgraded suspension and braking system, redesigned exterior and interior of the car. This Audi is fitted with a 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbocharged engine. Its maximum output reaches 310 hp with 420 Nm of torque which is more than enough for a compact SUV. It takes 5.0 seconds to accelerate the car up to 100 km/h which is also due to Quattro all-wheel drive and a rapid 7-speed gearbox. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. During the tests the car demonstrated not only excellent acceleration dynamics up to 100 km/h but also impressive braking results. Below you can find the numbers received during the tests:
- Power and torque: 310 hp and 420 Nm
- Weight: 1900 kg
- 0–100 km/h: 5.0 sec
- 0–130 km/h: 7.8 sec
- 0–160 km/h: 12.1 sec
- Top speed: 250 km/h (electronically limited)
- Braking (100–0 km/h) with warm brakes: 35.5 m
