Acura intends to build only all-wheel drive models in the nearest future.
“Looking at Subaru, I felt that we have to have a strong, clear direction as a brand,” said Koichi Fukuo, Acura’s top global executive.
After a thorough market research, Acura decided that they should focus on all-wheel drive models. It will help attracting new clients, who will wear the proud name of “Acurists” mimicking the “Subarists”.
In Russia, an AWD option is available for the TLX sedan at the moment. Crossovers come with all-wheel drive as standard.
