Silver Arrows start celebrating their Formula 1 constructors’ title.
In the end of the season, Formula 1 teams give a traditional bonus to all their staff. In case there are no “paper wars”, the team of Silver Arrows has already clinched constructors’ title this year, meaning it will receive the total prize fund of $64 million.
Mercedes AMG Petronas will reward 700 staff members at Mercedes’ headquarters, which altogether will cost over $11 million. Everyone, including each chef and cleaner, will get a minimum of $16,000.
Sure enough, the drivers will also get a reward together with the company’s engineers, mechanics and service staff. Well, their wages are pretty high even without the bonuses. Lewis Hamilton has already earned $32 million this season, while Nico Rosberg has banked $24 million.
