With the purpose of either horrification or decoration, the Latvian company Dartz Motorz has built a 1,500-hp armoured vehicle.
The Black Shark armoured car is based on the Mercedes GL63. Its body is made out of Kevlar and titanium. It carries an AMG V8 engine that can be uprated up to 1,500 hp on customer’s request.
However, the car features even more intriguing options like a retina scanner and fingerprint recognition. There is one more surprise for those who still want to get inside the car without an invitation from the owner — disappearing door handles with electric shock device. And to top it off, there is a siren to ward off crowds.
The Black Shark comes with a diamond encrusted Vertu smartphone, which can be used to control all the above-mentioned options. It can also check the vehicle's tyre pressure.
