Tesla Motors has plans to build one of the world’s largest factories.

Tesla Motors decided to make good preparations for its future work and take commercial root in Nevada. And it wants to do it on a really grand scale.

The factory will be twice as long as the height of the twin towers of the New York's World Trade Centre. $3.5 billion will be required to build the Gigafactory. Moreover, the state of Nevada also wants to participate in the erection of one of the largest buildings and invests around $2 billion. The construction site of the Gigafactory will be comparable to the Boeing Everett Factory and we are talking about over a million of square metres.

One more comparison was offered to get a better understanding of the factory’s size. The tallest building in the world right now is the Burj Khalifa hotel in Dubai, which is 829.8 meters; still, if it were to lay down next to Tesla’s Gigafactory, it would still need 270 metres to reach the other end.

The factory would begin production in 2017. Evidently, the company does plan to conquer the entire world.
