The Bugatti Veyron will be replaced by the Chiron, which was on the horizon back in 1999.
In 2016, the Veyron will be replaced by a hypercar fitted with an 8.0-litre W16 delivering up to 1,600 hp. Rumours have been circulating for a long time and finally we know the name of the Veyron’s successor — the Chiron.
The Chiron will be able to power its way from 0–100 km/h in 2.3 seconds. The marque’s enthusiasts are already familiar with this name. It was supposed to be introduced back in 1999, however, the company’s plans have changed. And now it was decided to bring the name back and add more power and confidence to it. The new model will accelerate to 460 km/h, although it will not be able to run anywhere at the top of its performance. Maybe just at the racing tracks.
Sure enough, the car complies with all safety standards; however, speed limit is not anything to sneeze at. That is why the future clients should really tame their temper till reaching the racing circuits. Anyway, it’s too early to come to any conclusions, as there are almost 1.5 years of waiting ahead.
