Experts from the Zagato tuning studio have built an Aston Martin Virage based on the models of the mid-1980s.
Zagato is not the first tuner that tried to create its own version of an Aston Martin. Similar ideas came into the minds of the engineers from Bertone, who created the Rapide Jet 2+2 and Jet 2 cars based on the Vanquish. However, this time the inspiration was taken from the Vantage and Volante models.
Performance characteristics of the “Frankenstein” remain unconfirmed; however, the Virage was fitted with a 12-cylinder engine delivering 490 hp.
One thing is clear that Zagato were able to demonstrate their artistic nature and created an exclusive Aston Martin.
