Aston Martin have applied for DB10 through DB14 trademarks for their new models.

Obviously, there are good reasons why the company has received $200 million of investment, as there are plenty of new models to arrive. As it is already known, the new-generation Aston Martin DB9 is scheduled to come to market in 2016.

Quite recently, Marek Reichman, design director at Aston Martin, said that Aston Martin DB9 would definitely keep the numbers in its name. With that coming true, the rest of the numbers in the sequence are very consistent.

The coupé-successor of the DB9 will be built around aluminium chassis and some of its elements will be shared with Mercedes. Agreement on this project was signed in 2013. In particular, it refers to an 8-cylinder biturbo engine, which will be built with the help of Mercedes engineers.

Taking into consideration that Aston Martin have plans to launch production of five new models by 2020, they should better hurry up.
