Ford Racing have built a special modification of the Mustang RTR in cooperation with the defending Formula Drift champion.
Vaughn Gittin Jr. won the 2010 Drift Championship and even though fortune doesn’t always favour him lately, he has enough time for other activities. With his help, Ford’s sports division developed an RTR distinguished by a rather aggressive body style. It features new bumpers, air intakes, a spoiler, and a rear diffuser.
Two versions will be available: Spec 1 and Spec 2. The first one includes exterior modifications, while the second one is more profound. Tuning kits will be developed for a 2.3-litre 310-hp turbocharged EcoBoost engine, a 5.0-litre V8 delivering 435 hp, and a 3.7-litre naturally-aspirated V6. There are not so many details so far, the company has just released the first teaser of the model.
