In 1980, the marathon «24 hours of Le Mans» was attended by three Porsche 924 Coupe the GTP, representing Germany, the USA and the UK. In 2016, the British division to find and restore the car, defended the honor of the «Union Jack» in the legendary race.
The work of restoration was divided between several companies, certified Porsche for restoring retro sports car brand — in Glasgow worked on the suspension and brakes, in Swindon engaged engine, Hatfield experts worked on gearbox electrics restored in Leeds, and the body entrusted us Road & Race Restorations.
As a result of the work the British branch of Porsche presented a video dedicated to the car, which 36 years ago took the fifth place in the GTP class and 12th overall in the race «24 Hours of Le Mans.»
