Five copies of the 600-strong BMW M5 Competition Edition (the entire edition limited to 200 copies) in Russia will be at a price of 8.28 million rubles (2.79 million more expensive than conventional M5). This version will be the final for the «charged» 4-door current generation.
The choice of colors is small — a «black carbon» or «white mineral».
Under the hood — a 4.4-liter «turbovosmerka» (as in the normal version) paired with a 7-step «robot». But the changes still there — a new control unit and increased boost pressure. All this made it possible to increase the power to 600 hp and 700 Nm of torque (standard — 560 hp and 680 Nm). The first hundred is overcome in 3.9 seconds and top speed is limited at around 250 kilometers an hour (if you want an electronic collar can push up to 305 km / h).
M5 Competition Edition is different and more understated by 10 mm ground clearance, special springs, shock absorbers and stabilizers, modified Active Differential settings, steering and stabilization system. Of course, the cabin was not without carbon and label with a serial number.
