Aston Martin is still busy reviving the Lagonda brand; however, the course has been changed. Only sedan is coming up instead of a long-awaited SUV.

Chief designer Marek Reichman told Piston Head that the company was going to launch production of an exclusive ultra-luxurious sedan. What concerns the SUV everybody has been talking about since 2009, its time has run out: “That was a different time. And now we're in a very, very different time, with a different plan and with a different projection of what the Lagonda brand should become”.

The size of the new sedan will be similar to that of a Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Apparently, it might become the most expensive model in Aston Martin’s lineup. A special Q division, which deals with project customisation based on customers' requests, is working on designing the car. Unofficial sources report that the new sedan has already been caught testing.
