Volvo XC90 bids to become the safest SUV with pioneering technologies.
There is still no full picture of the new-generation Volvo XC90 but this time the company’s representatives reported about the advanced technologies, which should propel the SUV’s safety to the new level and make it the safest car in its class.
Just imagine the level of various assists and controllers: the car features a run-off road protection and an automatic braking function that works if the vehicle is turning at a junction. Apart from that, the Safe Positioning function helps drivers to avoid leaving the road and tightens the front seat belts if it senses control has been lost.
The Volvo XC90 is fully ready to protect everyone inside the car. For instance, front seats are designed to reduce the forces on a person’s spine in a hard landing.
But that’s not all either. The company has fitted the Volvo XC90 with functions that provide more care than a thoughtful grandmother: protection if the car is about to be hit from behind, rollover prevention, road sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, and assistance in slow-moving traffic.
A good thing the driver can breathe independently so far.
