Tesla Model S goes to the mountain Pikes Peak

Tesla Model S electric car will take part in the race on the mountain Pikes Peak.
According to the publication Carscoops, Tesla will take part for the first time in this race. Model S will be performing in the classroom Electric Production (serial electric vehicles), and the wheel will be Blake Fuller — founder and Go Pack head of the firm, specializing in the production of compact portable batteries.
Fuller intends to overcome the 19.99-kilometer distance in less than 13 minutes.
For this purpose, electric car batteries will be equipped with a special unit, which is a lightweight version (80% better flow).

Recall, top-end version of the Tesla Model S P90D is equipped with two electric motors (503 and 259 hp at the rear and front axle, respectively). The first electric car overcomes a hundred in 2.8 seconds and can reach speeds of 250 kilometers per hour.
Last year, the race winner was sportprototip eO PP03. It was piloted by New Zealander Figure Millen (the result — 9 minutes and 7.222 seconds).
