Bentley’s sales and marketing director, Kevin Rose, made a rather loud statement saying their SUV was to become the fastest in its class.
As reported by the company, the premiere will have V8 petrol-powered, plug-in-hybrid powertrain, and twin-turbo W12 options. The SUV will be able to reach the top speed of 320 km/h; however, there is no word yet how much time it will take the “bullyboy” to sprint from naught to 100 km/h.
Having a diesel engine is still in discussion — this question will be solved closer to the end of the year. The plug-in hybrid is expected to be the best-selling version of the SUV. According to marketing research, 30 percent of potential customers look forward to seeing a hybrid car in their garage.
