Bentley plan to launch a special division, which will deal with development and manufacturing of exclusive bodyshells for their models. This approach would help Bentley’s customers to create truly unique cars.
The price of global customisation of such kind might make a significant dent in the pockets; however, one of Bentley’s Board Members Kevin Rose is certain there will be no problem with that: “I love that idea, it’s like Haute Couture for a car. Technically it’s possible and the cost is irrelevant”.
Right now, the company is investigating potential market and exploring fantastic ideas of its customers. No final decision has been made on the fate of this division so far.
