Polestar will help Volvo build a boosted version of the V40 hatchback, which will generate 320 hp.
There is no word yet regarding its release date, however, there are quite a lot of technical details available. Under the bonnet, it will carry a 4-cylinder petrol-powered both turbo- and supercharged Drive-E unit. The hot hatch will sprint to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, while its top speed will be around 250 km/h.
The car will be fitted with new struts, springs, anti-roll bar, and new Brembo brakes. It is still unknown whether it is going to feature an all-wheel drive or just front-wheel drive layout.
The model is expected to make its debut next year; however, no official statement has been made yet.
