Speed records can be set not only behind the wheel of large sports cars, but also driving mini copies of them. Quite recently, Nic Case created a radio-controlled “bullet” able to sprint to 315 km/h, which is actually faster than the real Ferrari F430.
The handyman was practically able “to shoe a flea” by creating a small car R/C Bullet. It is a 1:10 scale model. It features all-wheel drive layout, one electric motor delivering 10 hp and several 5,000mAh lithium polymer batteries. Its body is made of plastic.
At the moment, the fastest speed registered in the Guinness Book of World Records achieved by a radio-controlled model car is 276.74 km/h. Taking into consideration the power delivered by the engine of the small car, its full potential has not been unlocked yet — one should just draw more attention to its aerodynamics and stability at high speeds.
