Glickenhaus’s carbon fibre supercar

Car collector James Glickenhaus decided to launch production of carbon fibre supercars. One of them will participate in the Nürburgring 24 Hours race. It will be James’ third project, however, unlike other supercars built on Ferrari base, it will not be a one-off vehicle this time. There will be two modifications of the SCG 003 — street-legal and track-focused.

According to Glickenhaus, his team used fast, lightweight cars with sharper handling as the baseline. The premiere will be fitted with a 6-cylinder twin-turbo 3.5-litre engine. Most probably, it will be Ford's EcoBoost motor.

The SCG 003 will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2015.
