The US-based tuning studio Saleen prepared an upgrade package for the six-generation Ford Mustang sports car.
New-generation Ford Mustang had its debut last December. The customers could opt for a 5.0-litre eight-cylinder engine delivering 426 hp, a 3.7-litre 304-hp naturally-aspirated V6 engine, or a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost engine tuned to produce 309 hp.
The new Saleen’s upgrade package has initially been intended for the fifth-generation Mustang. They decided to boost capacity of the eight-cylinder engine from 4.6L to 5L, modify suspension, and mount a supercharger and an aerodynamic body kit.
However, their plans have been changed and experts from the studio decided to get on with the six-generation Mustang. Only one image of the car has been published so far, the rest is kept under wraps.
