Racing simulators caught fancy of a great number of people. Aston Martin have been developing a virtual supercar for the Gran Turismo 6 for half a year and they are finally ready to reveal it to computer car fans.

This game features many supercars, which would never be brought to life; however, there were a few exceptions, like Mercedes, for instance. “The story's false; but in it lies some truth, seen but by inward eyes”. And this story is about Aston Martin. Design director Marek Reichman gave the following comment on the premiere: “Many of the design cues visible in this model could also feed through into future sports cars that we’ll launch in the offline world”.

The virtual DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo supercar features mid-engined layout and a 12-cylinder petrol-powered twin-turbo engine delivering 800 hp. The car is equipped with LED lights, active aerodynamic carbon fibre elements, and 20-inch wheels wearing Michelin tyres — 255/40 in the front and 295/40 in the rear.
