October 13, 2013 became the day when UNLIM 500+ training rides took place on dynamometric runway of Dmitrov’s ground. Despite mid-autumn, the weather was warm and sunny. 22 cars took part in the races and while almost all of them showed their own best results, some even set world records.
To cut the long story short, two world records were simultaneously set by headliners of AMS and Switzer Perfomance tuning-ateliers. Nissan GT-R AMS Alpha 12+ set a World Record on a 1 mile distance among GT-Rs — 22.086 sec with exit speed of 385.43 km/h.
Nissan GT-R Switzer Goliath also set a world record. This was however not distance time, but exit speed — 402 km/h. It's the first Nissan GT-R, that could speed more than 400 km/h and the first one among GT-Rs with such exit speed at 1 mile distance. Clean time result was improved the same day reaching 22,251 sec with exit speed of 400 km/h.
Porsche 911 Turbo DT 1200 R owner also improved his time and set a world record for Porsche. Fairly speaking, with its owner efforts Porsche's results started to get closer to Nissan GT-R and the next year, he promises to be on top. The best result of the day — 23,669 sec with exit speed of 370,75 km/h.
Lamborghini Gallardo Nera Underground Racing R1 owner was able to overcome his slipping problem at the start and improved his results — 23,721 sec, with exit speed of 399,95 km/h. He was only 0,5 km/h short from that psychological barrier of 400 km/h.
Nissan GT-R Altechno A1 showed the best time of 23,764 sec with exit speed of 366,97 km/h.
Nissan GT-R Precision PTE 1000 made a number of rides showing the best result of 24,095 sec with exit speed of 365,08 km/h.
Snow-white Nissan GT-R GTT 1000 couldn't make dreams come true because of the technical issues, but still showed 24,649 sec with exit speed of 360 km/h.
Porsche 911 GT2 9ff 1150 Garrett was also actively participating in the training rides finally showing the best time of 25,642 sec with exit speed of 348,83 km/h.
White Nissan GT-R GTT Stage 2 improved it's previous result this time showing 25,985 sec with exit speed of 319,1 km/h. This fact makes it one of the TOP 3 cars in Sport Cars class.
Famous Nissan Juke R SV-Engineering Stage 2 couldn't improve its time, but demonstrated quite good result — 27,095 sec with exit speed of 281,03 km/h.
BMW M6 PP-Performance Stage 2 showed excellent result among competitors as well as the best time among Gran Turismo cars — 27,555 sec with exit speed of 312,77 km/h
Exit speed record at 1 mile in Gran Turismo class was set by Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG Gorilla Racing — 322 km/h. But the time of the distance wasn't improved — 27,775 sec with exit speed of 313,58 km/h.
For Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Gorilla Racing it was the first time at UNLIM 500+. It's result — 27,938 sec with exit speed of 297,72 km/h.
Exit speed at 1 mile distance was improved by Ferrari 599 GTO Fiorano, that accelerated up to 294.59 km/h. Its time of the distance was 28,860 sec.
Another car that showed up at Dmitrov's runway for the first time was Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Custom Performance Stage 2. 28,991 sec is the result that it showed with exit speed of 301, 25 km/h.
Matt painted Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series is another newbie at UNLIM 500+. Considering no tuning on this car, the result is quite good — 28,996 sec with exit speed of 298,01 km/h.
Stock Ferrari 458 Italia was doing it's best to stop loosing time at the start and it's best 1 mile ride was 29.063 sec with exit speed of 283,68 km/h.
Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG Gorilla Racing showed remarkable time improvement, being able to get over «30 sec» limit. The best time is 29,879 sec with exit speed of 270,88 km/h.
BMW X5M Cartuning Stage 2 participated in the rides for the first time. As a resulf of a number of rides, its best 1 mile result is 30,115 sec with exit speed of 267,85 km/h.
The result of Audi Q5 3.0 TFSI APR Stage 2 was quite surprising. This factory made car doesn't have distinguished dynamics. However correct tuning and driver's skills gave it the time result of 33,201 sec at the speed of 239,36 km/h.
The last hypercar result was very expected. Everybody had their heart skip a beat and kept silence when the most powerful car of UNLIM 500+ drove to the starting line and prepared for a ride. Unfortunately, a small technical breakdown didn't let the car unleash its power. Several hundred meters after the start, the car stopped to accelerate and just drove to the finish line.
