Well, of course robots will not replace humans. It’s just that the company’s US division Audi Robotic Telepresence has revealed a remotely controlled robot to help servicing cars.

The droid cannot perform any mechanical work so far. In fact, it will be just transferring information to the remote technician with the help of a built-in camera and wireless communications. This technician will be able to control the robot using a computer or tablet.

Robots will be used in a pilot program at 18 US dealerships. Later they will be cloned and the company has plans to have it at 100 units in the near future.
