The Goodwood Festival of Speed will abound with supercars. McLaren Automotive has hinted at a track-focused supercar.
A teaser image of the car has already been released. Most probably, it refers to the 650S coupé built for the GT3 racing series. The teaser shows a silhouette of the car, its boomerang-shaped headlights, a massive rear spoiler, Pirelli tyres, and, of courses, Mobil 1 and Tag Heuer sponsor stickers.
Then again, the idea of building a 1000-hp track-focused P1 hybrid is an even more debated question at the moment. Its price tag will be around $3.35 million. Under the bonnet, it will feature a 3.8-litre twin-turbo eight-cylinder engine, which is capable of delivering 650 hp and 678 Nm of torque so far. The weight of the car will be reduced. Well, things are humming at McLaren.
