Pagani will launch a special edition of the Huayra sports car, which will be named after the legendary track — Nürburgring Edition. Details on technical specifications are scant at this stage; information about the premiere was published on the Teamspeed website with the reference to Pagani's official test driver Davide Testi.
It will be a limited edition and the company hopes to build between 15 and 25 units. It’s intriguing to find out how much the premiere would cost as the price of the “regular” Pagani Huayra starts at €1.2 million. Huayra sprints to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, while its top speed is 370 km/h. It features a 700-hp 6.0-litre 12-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine coupled with a seven-speed sequential gearbox.
All we can do is speculate about the new sports car, as naming it after the legendary Nürburgring racing track is a serious statement and the company will not be able to get away with just interior changes and a new label on the car’s body.
