August 1 and 2 at the circuit in Dorogobuzh district of Smolensk region were full of unpredictable events of the race five classes of the Russian circuit racing series. Spectators who visited Smolensk ring this weekend, witnessed not only the 8 martial races, but celebratory concert of «Chicherin» and «Semantic hallucinations» who came to honor the 5th anniversary of the first national race track, built by European standards.
The competition «Touring Light» started 11 athletes. Not the most impressive number of participants is offset by the density of the struggle, the leader of which came from Dmitry Bragin: he won Saturday's race and came second on Sunday. Twice on the podium and Andrei Nikolayev — second and third place ensured him the silver in the weekend. «Kalina» Michael Mitiaeva suffered in the first race and the pilot was only able to close the top ten, but the next day put in a piggy bank maximum points.
Arrivals class «Touring» and «super-production», coming at the start of the races within the framework of the «United 2000», mirror differed from each other not only winners as dramatic struggle. When the first race was relatively quiet, the back of the field in the second suffered a loss in each of the tests. As a result, two victories scored by Aleksei Dudukalo. The second would be his teammate Rustam Akiniyazov — in the race, he finished third and second. But the judges found him guilty of a turn Vitaly Larionov (Sunday he lost control of his BMW and was hit by SEAT Leon Roman Golikova, who brought both cars out of the fight), and to annul the results Akiniyazova.
