Pagani: exclusive among the exclusive

On top of producing a rather small amount of cars, manufacturers of sports cars seem to compete in exclusiveness creating single units that are even more exclusive. Italian carmaker Pagani plans to produce a Zonda supercar, which has been dubbed the 760 X. And it is truly exclusive! As reported by Prototype Zero, there will be only one single unit produced on request of an unknown customer from China.

In what way will it be different from other exclusive Pagani’s cars? First of all, it’s about its colour scheme — the body painted baby blue with the Italian flag running down the centre. A combination of green, white, and red is echoed in the outer rim of the taillights. The interior is trimmed with leather matching the colours of the exterior, featuring plenty of carbon fibre and anodised aluminium.

The new Zonda is expected to have a 7.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine delivering 760 hp and mated to a sequential transmission. There is no word regarding its performance. For your information, a 750-hp Pagani Zonda R accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, while its top speed is 350 km/h.

The previous exclusive version, the Pagani Zonda Revolution, was revealed last year in June. It was fitted with an 800-hp 6.0-litre V12 engine. The coupé was featuring a special aerodynamic package and a 12-mode traction control system. It was a limited edition of 5 units priced at €2.2 million each.
