British studio turned Ferrari into a pick-up truck

Whether it’s sacrilegious or not, but human needs have no boundaries. The British tuning studio London Supercar Workshop used a “magic angle grinder” to turn a Ferrari 412 into a … pick-up truck!

As reported by auto.vesti.ru, a rare sports car produced in 1989 lost part of its roof, got upgraded B-pillars and one-metre load bed, and a floor made of teak wood (like luxury yachts). The experts from the studio replaced rear suspension to cope with heavy loads, fitted sports exhaust system with trim valve, and used a great sound system. The body was painted in Ferrari Rosso red — the house colour of the manufacturer from Maranello.

The explanation given to justify such comprehensive solution is that London goes through a peak of activity in the real estate market and repairs go all over the city. So there is a need for fast transportation of construction materials and Ferrari has just come to hand. Most probably, pick-up truck will become a showroom model but it can definitely carry a few bags of cement and several packs of tiles straight to your house.
