In 2015, Cadillac plans to produce the next-generation CTS-V. Meanwhile, it will end the life of the current CTS-V with a final farewell in the form of a special edition. Only 500 exclusive vehicles will roll off the production lines.

The limited edition will be fitted with the same 6.2-litre petrol-powered supercharged eight-cylinder engine delivering 564 hp and 747 Nm of torque coupled with six-speed manual or automatic transmission. CTS-V is equipped with Magnetic Ride Control adaptive suspension and Brembo brakes. It takes the coupé only 4 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h; its top speed is 282 km/h.

The colour of the radiator grille will be changed from silver to black. The car will have special wheels with red brake callipers. The design of the interior was not left aside — it is trimmed in black with red stitching, features wood trim, metal pedals, and Recaro sport seats.

The limited edition will go on sale in the U.S. this summer at the price of $72,195.
