After the qualifying, Alexander Vartanian had 26th position on the starting grid. He demonstrated great results in elimination runs and the semi-final race. Alexander was sixth on the start of the final race but confidently converted this position to the final third place being just one second behind the leader.
Consequently, the SMP Racing-supported driver took the third place on the podium according to the results of this race and was sixth in the overall WSK Supermaster standings among more than 80 participants from different parts of the world.
“That is definitely a great result”, says the chief of the junior division of the SMP Racing team Petr Aleshin. “One should note that it is one of the world’s largest competitions in karting. It looks decent enough to get in the final round of a competition like that. The fact that the SMP Racing-supported driver Alexander Vartanian was able to be among top six pilots of this series demonstrates high professional level achieved by our sportsman”.
