What might impress sophisticated audience? Maybe a spaceship? So Porsche decided to follow a well-worn path and revealed two upgraded models — coupé Cayman and roadster Boxster. The upgrade was not that significant, however, more power was added together with three special letters — GTS.

The cars are fitted with 3.4-litre engines which have been readjusted. Cayman GTS delivers 340 hp and 380 Nm of torque. It is equipped with semi-automatic PDK gearbox and Sport Plus package. Now it sprints to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds which is 0.3 seconds faster than the Cayman S. It takes the model with the manual transmission 4.9 seconds to reach the same speed.

Boxster GTS delivers 330 hp and 370 Nm of torque. Fair enough, it is a bit slower than Cayman and sprints to 100 km/h in 4.7–5 seconds (depending on the type of transmission). The standard version of the upgraded car goes with Sport Chrono package, which provides a sharper accelerator pedal response, and the branded adaptive suspension PASM, which allows the driver to choose between two damper stiffness levels.

New wheels were not forgotten. Now the cars feature 20-inch wheels, upgraded aerodynamic body elements, leather and Alcantara interior trim. The GTS models will be available for pre-order starting from May. There is no word about the price of Boxster yet; however, the price of Cayman will start at 3,139,000 RUB (approx. €63,600).
