AutoBild journalists published the results of performance tests with three diesel-powered crossovers — Porsche Macan S Diesel, Audi Q5 3.0 TDi and Mercedes-Benz GLK350 CDi. The tests traditionally included acceleration and braking performance, and also the average fuel consumption rate and noise level at the speed of 130 km/h. All three vehicles were almost equal in weight, power, and torque and demonstrated an equitable acceleration and braking performance. Noise level in all cars was absolutely the same — 69 dB(A). The journalists noted that Porsche Macan scored more points for handling qualities and exterior, however, it lost to Audi due to its higher price.
