While the pilots are going through final preparations in Norfolk (Great Britain), the team’s engineers and mechanics complete the final tests and adjustments of race cars getting them ready for the six-hour race which will be held this week-end on the track in Silverstone.

“Team race cars Ferrari 458 GTE and Ferrari 458 GT3 went through successful tests and we will take them to the track shortly”, said Michelotto Automobili Principal Cristiano Michelotto.

Meanwhile, the team’s paddock area is ready for the competitions — pavilions are put up, boxes are ready, team members practice pit stops and arrange final administrative matters.

“Yesterday we met with the promoters of this championship. They expressed their support and understanding hoping for early solution of the situation, wished us luck and success in the upcoming race. I would like to note one more time that the speculations about the end of our career are premature. SMP Racing is very much alive!” said SMP Racing Sport Director Sergey Zlobin.

The first round of the World Endurance Championship will begin with free sessions on Friday, April 18th at 2:55 PM Moscow Time.
