Subaru is preparing a surprise for the fans of sports cars which will be unveiled in New York. Unfortunately, there is no word about its technical specifications yet but first teaser has already been published. According to this photo, it will feature a carbon fibre rear spoiler similar to that of a WRX or WRX STi. Facelifted rally legends WRX and WRX STi have also been revealed quite recently so the Japanese brand just springs with premieres.
The fastest sedan produced by Subaru so far is fitted with a 2.5-litre turbocharged engine delivering 305 hp and has manual transmission. The distinctive feature of Subaru WRX STi is an all-wheel drive system with driver-adjustable centre differential. The price of this sedan starts at 2,069,000 RUB (approx. €41,600).
But it is new-generation Subaru Outback which is considered to be the major upcoming premiere from the Japanese company. It should borrow the platform and engine lineup from the Legacy premium sedan.
