BMW has plans to reveal its 9-Series concept at the Beijing Auto Show in April, 2014. According to Auto Motor und Sport, the production version of the 9-Series might be built on the same platform which is used for the new-generation 7-Series and Rolls-Royce Phantom sedan. Unfortunately, there is no information about any other details.
One of the versions is that the company will unveil a big sedan, however, it is also possible that it might be a 2-door coupé. This speculation is based on the fact that last year BMW presented a luxury coupé Pininfarina Gran Lusso V12. This model in particular might have an influence upon the 9-Series. However, it is entirely possible that the company might come up with something unexpected.
