Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II has made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. It features the eight-speed automatic transmission coupled with the on-board navigation system. With the help of the Satellite Aided Transmission system the gearbox adjusts to different road conditions by providing intelligent shifting before the car makes a turn, starts descending or ascending basing on the current topological position of the vehicle.
There are not many changes apart from that. The powertrain is the same — 12-cylinder 6.6-litre engine producing 570 hp and 780 Nm of torque. Rolls-Royce representatives also stated that the sedan went through a number of changes directed at improving driver feedback and rear stability. What concerns the design of the new car, it has new exterior and interior elements in comparison with the 2010 model.
