Within one month after the official announcement of the new model, Huracan, Lamborghini already claims 700 pre-orders for it. This number was published by the press service of the Italian company. It’s a rather good result for a car with the price tag of $300,000. Apart from its official premiere at the Geneva Motor Show, the company’s marketing experts also plan to have at least 130 private presentations in 60 cities all over the world which might increase the number of pre-sales.
European customers will be able to purchase Huracan after the Geneva Motor Show. By summer the supercar will arrive in Russia and its price will start at 11 million RUB.
If the interest towards the new model keeps up the pace like that, it might beat the record set by Gallardo, the most popular model in the entire history of Lamborghini, the car which had secured half of the company’s sales.
