A giant sinkhole measures some 12 metres wide and more than 9 metres deep. Six of the swallowed cars belong to the museum and two more — 2009 ZR1 Blue Devil and 1993 ZR-1 Spyder — are on loan from General Motors and part of the temporary exhibition. Right now the experts are searching for the cause of the sinkhole and estimating the damage done to the vehicles.
