The Golf R400 concept was revealed this spring. After some contemplations, the company decided that the hatchback should come into the world to bring joy to marque’s fans, meaning it has been approved for production.
The VW Golf R400 will debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is expected to cost less than €50,000.
The engineers haven’t decided yet on the exact horsepower of the future 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. As reported by Car, this mill is expected to deliver a power output in the range of 400–420 hp.
Sure enough, the car’s whopping horsepower will be accompanied by an upgraded suspension, powerful brakes and a new aerodynamic body kit.
