The 2015 Ford Mustang RTR made its debut at the SEMA show. The car will be available in two trim levels. The first one will include exterior modifications, while the second one will focus on better performance characteristics.

The 2015 model will be offered with a range of engine options, including a 2.3-litre Ecoboost mill, a V6 and a 5.0-litre eight-cylinder engine, with the most powerful one rated at 725 horsepower.

The first trim level, Spec 1, includes appearance modifications. The aerodynamic body kit for the Mustang RTR comprises front spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper diffuser, and boot lid lip spoiler. The car also features a new radiator grille and three versions of wheels.

The second package is more profound and focuses on better handling and enhanced driving dynamics. Spec 2 includes adjustable dampers, lowering springs, adjustable sway bars, Magnaflow exhaust system, new intake system, supercharger options, and a wide front spoiler.

This special edition Mustang was created with the help of Formula Drift Champion, the face of the Ford Mustang, the founder of the RTR tuning studio, Vaughn Gittin Jr. This year he was awarded by Ford for his contribution to brand image.
