Porsche might build a rival for Tesla's Model S.
As reported by Autocar, an all-electric Porsche will be based on the new Pajun (Panamera Junior) compact model. Though it is still in development, the Pajun is expected to slot in below the Panamera.
An interesting fact is that the new model will be based on the MSB platform that currently underpins the Panamera. Apart from the all-electric version, Porsche also plans to produce a version fitted with a combustion engine. Unfortunately, all other details are scant at this stage.
The new model is possible for 2017 at the earliest.
