A high-performance Fiat 500X Abarth crossover is due late next year.
Quite recently, Fiat has produced a crossover, the most powerful version of which is fitted with a 2.4-litre engine delivering 184 hp. Fiat's head of European design Roberto Giolito said that quite soon we would be able to meet its high-performance version specially prepared by Abarth division. Giolito is sure that the tuner can make the Fiat 500X “perfect”.
No technical details have been released so far. Quite possibly, the car will be fitted with a 1.75-litre turbocharged engine delivering 235 hp, which is also used in one of Alfa Romeo Giulietta versions. However, nothing is official so far.
