New model charged with 2,000 hp

A rival to Koenigsegg and Bugatti will enter production in 2016.

American company Trion Supercars has created a prototype of the Nemesis hypercar. It features a carbonfibre monocoque and body panels formed from carbon fibre as well.

The concept is fitted with a 9.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivering an impressive 2,000 hp. It is mated to an 8-speed sequential transmission. The hypercar will be able to jump to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, while its top speed will be set at 450 km/h.

The coupé features an all-wheel drive layout. The braking power is provided by carbon-ceramic disc brakes. Production run will be limited to just 50 units, with each costing at least $1 million.
