Porsche has unveiled the high-performance version of the 911 sports car. The new modification dubbed the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is available in both coupé and convertible versions. The price of the rear-wheel drive coupé starts at 5,859,000 RUB (approx. €115,000), while the all-wheel drive version will cost 6,788,000 RUB (approx. €133,200).
The new model will be fitted with a 3.8-litre engine with the output tuned from 400 to 430 horsepower. The customers can opt for either seven-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch PDK automatic. The coupé equipped with the PDK gearbox sprints to 100 km/h in 4 seconds, however, the manual transmission provides a 2-km/h higher top speed.
Both RWD and AWD layouts are available. The Porsche 911 Carrera GTS comes standard with adaptive dampers; its ride height is 10 mm lower compared to the 911 Carrera.
The 911 Carrera GTS sits on exclusive 20-inch wheels fitted in flared wheel arches. On the inside, there are sports leather seats trimmed in Alcantara.
The new model will come with a special Sport Chrono package. It includes dynamic engine mounts, readjustment of several engine, gearbox, suspension and braking systems.
