Mercedes-Benz plans to introduce a new model naming scheme.
The company’s representatives report that Mercedes wants to put all models in order based on their classes. Which is exactly what Cadillac has done quite recently — they have announced about a gradual model renaming scheme to make it easier for the customers to familiarise with all the diversity of their cars.
As for Mercedes, it will rename all M-Class SUVs, which should wear a GLE badge from now on. The last letter indicates the class of the vehicle. This approach will be used when renaming all other models.
